Designation : Inside Sales Engineer – Upgrades

Job Responsibilities

- Review complete customer enquiry of technical and commercial specifications.

- Review the Problems associated with Existing IMI Valve, Competitor Valve and select the suitable Upgraded solution with latest technologies.

- Responsible for accurate sizing, design selection, and error-free proposal preparation.

- Determine competitor sizing and product information for strategy development.

- Confers the manufacturing team to ensure processes, techniques and time schedule will meet customer needs.

- Preparation of the project costing in detail.

- Handling technical and commercial queries from customers.

- Coordinates with customers, Outside Sales and Sales Representatives to convince customers of the value addition on purchasing the solutions offered.

- Upon receipt of order, transfer of complete project details (CORB) post order to PM and assist in post order technical issues.

- Update Sales tools (Salesforce) on a regular basis.

Required Skills

- Experience in technical sales,



preferably control valves or other mechanical related equipment; or one to two years related experience either in power plants, oil and gas or chemical industry.

- Understand the process of power plants, oil & gas plants, Desalination plants and pulp & paper plants.

- Preference for the people having oil and gas experience.

- Understand the basics of control valves and applications.

- Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Need to be a valuable team player.

- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power point and other Windows applications)

- General working knowledge of power stations is desirable.

Education qualification and Experience

- B.E Mechanical (Minimum Requirement)

- six to eight years related industry experience

- Communication Skills

- Fluency in English (both verbal & writing)

- Good email and telephone etiquette

- Ability to effectively present information to management and customers.
