Engineer for Machine Maintenance for Utilizing Breakdowns Our manufacturing facility's "Mechanical Reliability Specialist" and "Machinery Uptime Guardian" is the Machine Maintenance Engineer. Ensuring that all manufacturing machines, automated equipment, and specialist plant assets operate continuously and efficiently is your main responsibility. As the "Zero/-Breakdown Champion," you take direct responsibility for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, such as automated pick/-and/-place units, heavy/-duty gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic presses, CNC/VMC machines, and material handling systems.

Reducing Mean

Time to Repair /(MTTR/), increasing the overall operating life of plant assets, and lowering breakdown frequency are the main goals of this position.

Responsibilities/: Breakdown Triage & Mechanical Diagnostics/: Take charge of the shop floor's real/-time troubleshooting and repair of complicated machinery malfunctions, identifying issues with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural assembly to reduce production stalls.

Execution of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance/: Create and carry out strict preventive maintenance schedules for all production assets, utilizing predictive methods such as acoustic monitoring, oil condition tracking, and vibration analysis to repair parts before they break.

Hydraulic and Pneumatic System Maintenance/: Diagnose and repair large fluid/-power circuits, such as air preparation units, cylinders, accumulators, directional control blocks, proportional valves, and high/-pressure pumps.





Precision Mechanical Refurbishment/: Oversee and carry out the accurate replacement or alignment of worn machine components, including industrial gear trains, ball screws, linear guide rails, spindle bearings, and timing belts. Root/-Cause Analysis /(RCA/) and CAPA Logs/: Use techniques such as the 5/-Why analysis to implement dependable Corrective and Preventive Actions /(CAPA/) by conducting methodical engineering investigations into recurrent machine faults.

Optimization and Reconditioning of Spare Parts/: Keep an accurate inventory of essential mechanical spares /(bearings, seals, valves, specialized tooling parts/) and spearhead efforts to recondition worn assemblies locally to reduce expenses.

Skills/: Fluid Power & Circuit Interpretation/: Excellent comprehension of multi/-page industrial hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematic drawings. Expert/-level proficiency with precision diagnostic and tool/-setting tools, such as dial indicators, micrometers, vernier calipers, torque wrenches, and laser alignment tools.

Basic

Automation & Mechatronics Literacy/: The ability to interact with machine control panels, monitor proximity sensors to identify mechanical sequencing errors, and check PLC input/output status indicators.
