Qualification: Inter CA / Inter ICWA / B.Com (with solid practical accounting exposure)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Executive Accounts who will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting processes and the ability to independently handle routine finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and verify journal entries, purchase entries, sales entries, expense booking, and payment processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and accounting records.
- Support GST-related activities including data preparation, reconciliation,
and return filing coordination.
- Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return-related activities.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reviews.
- Prepare MIS reports and accounting schedules as required by management.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with internal teams for follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience in accounting operations.
- Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally ERP / Tally Prime preferred).
- Good MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reporting formats.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Com graduates with strong accounting exposure will also be considered.
- Candidates from manufacturing and who have worked in Factory settings will be preferred.
