We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our software delivery platform from code commit through production deployment. In this role, you'll design and maintain the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and operational standards that enable our engineering teams to ship software quickly, securely, and reliably.

You'll partner closely with Software Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure our Kubernetes-based platform running on AWS remains scalable, resilient, and observable as our platform continues to grow.

This is a highly technical, individual contributor role. You'll spend your time building automation, improving deployment processes, strengthening infrastructure, and helping establish engineering best practices across the organization.

What You'll Do

- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Develop automated build, test, security, and deployment workflows that support rapid and reliable software releases.
- Own release management practices, including versioning, deployment strategies, rollback procedures, canary deployments, and progressive delivery.
- Participate in architecture discussions to ensure new features and services are designed with operational excellence, scalability, security, and reliability in mind.
- Build security directly into the software delivery lifecycle by implementing automated SAST, SCA, dependency management, and supply chain security controls.
- Continuously improve deployment quality through automated testing, quality gates, and deployment validation.
- Manage,



optimize, and secure Kubernetes clusters running on Amazon EKS.
- Build and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting using OpenTelemetry (OTEL) and other observability tools.
- Troubleshoot production infrastructure and application issues while driving long-term reliability improvements.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment frequency, system reliability, and developer productivity.
- Maintain documentation and operational standards for platform engineering and release management.
- Support security initiatives and compliance efforts related to cloud infrastructure and software delivery.

Role & responsibilities

- 7+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related experience.
- 7+ years experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Github Actions or Jenkins
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- 7+ years experience operating cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK,



or similar frameworks).
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python.
- Experience implementing software security controls within CI/CD pipelines, including:

Static Application Security Testing (SAST)

Software Composition Analysis (SCA)

Dependency management

Software supply chain security

- Experience designing deployment strategies, automated testing, and release automation.
- Experience administering relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with observability platforms, distributed tracing, logging, and monitoring using Open Telemetry or similar technologies.
- Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred

- Experience administering Amazon EKS.
- Experience with progressive delivery tools such as Argo Rollouts or Flagger.
- Experience with Kubernetes service mesh technologies.
- Experience with leveraging AI to perform DevOps tasks, using tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, AWS DevOps Agent, etc.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification.
- Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
- CISSP or other security-related certifications.
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS organizations.
