The role involves preparing detailed civil and structural drawings, 3D modeling, and detailing of RCC and structural steel works for industrial EPC/EPCM projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in TEKLA Structures (mandatory) and AutoCAD.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings, foundation layouts, RCC drawings, and structural steel drawings.
- Develop detailed fabrication and erection drawings for steel structures.
- Prepare reinforcement detailing and bar bending schedules (BBS) where applicable.
- Review engineering inputs and convert design concepts into construction-ready drawings.
- Develop 3D structural models using TEKLA Structures (mandatory).
- Update models and drawings based on engineering revisions.
- Participate in model review meetings and incorporate client and engineering comments.
- Maintain drawing revisions, document registers, and revision history.
- Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications and resolving design-related queries.
Requirements & Skillsets
- TEKLA Structures proficiency is mandatory.
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in detailing RCC and structural steel structures for industrial projects.
- Ability to interpret structural design drawings and engineering calculations.
- Familiarity with industrial plant layouts and construction practices.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience as a Civil Designer in EPC/EPCM or industrial engineering organizations.
- Experience in Fertilizer, Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power, or other industrial plant projects is preferred.
