Data Engineer (AWS | Snowflake | DBT)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT, Python, and SQL
- Work with Snowflake for data warehousing, performance tuning, and data modeling
- Build and manage data infrastructure on AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, etc.)
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation frameworks




- Support BI tools such as Looker, Omni, or Power BI for dashboarding and reporting
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with:
- AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift or similar)
- Snowflake
- DBT (Data Build Tool)
- SQL (Advanced level)
- Python

- Experience in building data pipelines and data modeling
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Looker, Omni, Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of semantic layer / metrics layer concepts

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with data quality, governance, and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with contemporary data stack architecture
