Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer with solid expertise in Snowflake development to join our product team. This role will focus primarily on designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions within the Snowflake platform while leveraging AWS cloud services. Candidates should have a solid understanding of Java fundamentals, though extensive hands-on Java development is not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
- Build and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient data models and support analytics initiatives.
- Integrate Snowflake with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Batch, and IAM.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, data quality, and integration issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering and software development.
- Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of cloud-based data solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Development, including:




- Database, schema, and table design
- SQL development
- Data loading and transformation
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning

- Experience working with AWS services, including:

- Amazon S3
- AWS Batch
- AWS Lambda
- IAM

- Working knowledge of data integration and ETL concepts.
- Basic understanding of Java programming (hands-on expertise is not required).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-native data architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices within Snowflake.
