Key Responsibilities
- Operate encapsulation (capsule filling) machines as per production requirements
- Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers for different products and batch sizes
- Ensure accurate filling of capsules with proper weight variation and quality standards
- Monitor in-process checks such as weight variation, capsule locking, and visual defects
- Handle raw materials and empty capsules as per SOPs
- Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMR) and logbooks accurately
- Follow cGMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines during operations
- Coordinate with QA for line clearance and in-process approvals
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine issues or deviations
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area
