Emergency Department (ED) Medical Coder

Anviam Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Medical Coder to join our growing team in Mohali (Quark Atrium) . If you have strong ED coding experience and hands-on expertise with Epic and 3M 360 Encompass , we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes for Emergency Department encounters.
- Review provider documentation for coding accuracy and completeness.
- Code cases using Epic and 3M 360 Encompass .
- Ensure compliance with CMS, NCCI, payer guidelines, and coding standards.
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Identify documentation gaps and communicate with providers when clarification is required.
- Participate in internal quality audits and coding improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with coding guideline updates and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications




- 3–4+ years of Emergency Department (ED) coding experience.
- Hands-on experience with Epic and 3M 360 Encompass .
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II .
- Excellent coding accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while meeting turnaround times.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, or CCS-P certification (AAPC/AHIMA preferred).
- Experience working with U.S. hospital or health system coding.
