Job Profile: Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++, QNX, Linux, Camera Domain, Middleware Communication)

Experience Level: 5-10 years Location: Bangalore IJob Overview: We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer who excels both as an individual contributor and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C/C++, QNX, Linux, Vector Aracom, middleware communication, camera systems, design patterns, and debugging. This role will involve owning key features while collaborating with the Camera Application Development Team to develop innovative automotive camera technologies, including RVC, SVC, Night Vision, and Autonomous Parking systems.

Key Responsibilities: Embedded Software Development: Design and develop embedded software for automotive camera systems using C/C++, and collaborate with the Camera Application Development Team on key features like RVC, SVC, Night Vision, and Autonomous Parking systems.

Operating System Expertise: Work with QNX and Linux to develop embedded solutions, optimize performance for real-time requirements, and ensure reliability.

Camera Systems Development: Contribute to the design of camera features, ensuring high-quality image processing and real-time camera functionalities.

Middleware Communication: Develop and integrate middleware communication layers to ensure effective data exchange between system components.

Debugging & Testing: Own debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of embedded software in both development and production environments.

Tool Proficiency:



Utilize tools like Canoe and CanAnalyzer for testing and debugging automotive systems and protocols.

HMI UI Development: Develop intuitive and functional Human-Machine Interface (HMI) UI based on Figma designs, ensuring the user interface is responsive, easy to use, and integrates smoothly with embedded systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 6-8 years of C/C++ programming experience in embedded systems, particularly in real-time, low-latency solutions.

Expertise in QNX and Linux-based environments for embedded systems.

Strong knowledge of automotive camera systems (RVC, SVC,NV) and autonomous parking technology.

Experience in middleware communication, including protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C) and inter-process communication (IPC).

Experience in Vector ARACOM.

Advanced debugging skills with tools like Canoe/CanAnalyzer and a solid understanding of automotive communication protocols.

Exposure to QCarCam APIs for camera interaction and system integration.
