Position: Elevator Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Elevator Mechanic to install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair elevators, escalators, and related vertical transportation systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, test, and commission elevators, lifts, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to company schedules and safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and restore equipment to safe operation.
- Inspect elevator systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance standards.
- Replace worn or damaged components such as motors, controllers, door operators, cables, and safety devices.

Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and inspection documentation. Follow all workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and customers to complete projects efficiently.

Provide technical support and recommendations for equipment upgrades or modernization.

Required Qualifications





- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair (freshers may be considered for trainee positions).
- Knowledge of elevator control systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
- Bike is compulsory.
