Role Description The Electronics Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Peddemul. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic control systems and components for industrial equipment such as boilers, generators, air compressors, and electrical substations. The engineer will perform routine inspections, diagnose faults, replace or repair parts, and ensure systems meet safety and performance standards.

Daily activities include documenting service work, coordinating with project supervisors and clients, and supporting spare parts identification and procurement.



The role also requires adherence to company safety procedures, participation in training, and collaboration with other technical teams to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of industrial electronics, control systems, and instrumentation, with the ability to diagnose and repair electronic faults in equipment.

Hands-on experience with installation, testing, and maintenance of industrial systems such as boilers, generators, air compressors, steam lines, and electrical substations.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, measurement instruments, and basic hand tools safely and accurately.

Understanding of workplace safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance with relevant industrial safety standards.

Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with field staff, supervisors, suppliers, and customers.

Valuable organizational and documentation skills for maintaining service reports, maintenance logs, and parts records.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Previous experience in industrial service, maintenance, or field engineering is highly beneficial.

Willingness to work on-site in Peddemul, travel to customer locations as needed, and participate in ongoing technical and safety training.
