Role Description The Electrical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bengal, India. This position oversees the electrical systems within steel and power plant operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and productive performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and supervising electrical maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and optimizing power distribution across facilities.

The Electrical

Manager will lead an electrical team, manage schedules and workloads, monitor compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and collaborate with operations, mechanical, and production teams to minimize downtime.



The role also involves reviewing electrical designs for upgrades, preparing technical reports, managing vendors and contractors, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and practical knowledge of Electricity in industrial environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering expertise and experience with Electrical Design for plant systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Power Distribution, including load management and system reliability.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience in steel, power, or heavy manufacturing industries, with exposure to high-capacity electrical equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams, with strong planning and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced environment.
