ABSTRACT

Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to machinery, and provide support for its correct functionality and use. Responsible for following and modeling the rules, safety policies in the assigned area and continuous improvement, complying with Continuous improvement & sustainability (CIS).

MAIN ACTIVITIES / CIS

- Respond in a timely manner to requests for fallen machines.

- Execute in a timely manner the preventive and corrective maintenance already established.

- Detect failures in machinery in the production area.

- Correct reported faults and ensure (test) that they are working properly.

- Provide immediate response to requests to maintain a machine.

- Maintain order and cleanliness in maintenance tasks, etc.

- Inspect the equipment that corresponds to it on a daily basis.

- Control and management of assigned work tools.

- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on machinery and/or equipment.

- Release machines ready to work (working correctly).

- Participate in the installation and/or movements of machines in the production areas.

- Propose improvements to reduce the downtime of the machines.

- Comply with safety requirements regarding the use of personal protective equipment.

- Inform the production supervisor of the condition of the machines.

- Keep work areas clean, tidy and free of obstacles. Conduct routine and non-routine tours to detect failures and/or provide support.

- Work in conjunction with the supervisor when you need to perform some maintenance on the machines to see availability.



Manage orders in the Maintenance System (fill and close work orders)

- Generate reports and track reported actions

- Track assigned actions

- Accept change in my process as part of the pursuit of continuous improvement.

- Be a role model and ensure that staff comply with safety and hygiene standards, as well as Continuous Improvement & Sustainability (CIS), as well as that staff use Personal Protective Equipment correctly

- All other assigned or required activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Does not supervise staff, individual collaborator

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and/or experience required:

- 2 years in a similar position

- Knowledge in Electronics, Electrical Circuits

- Hydraulics, Pneumatics

- PLC

- Building Maintenance

Communication skills:

- Must communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees at all levels (English/Spanish)

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manual. (English / Spanish)

Education and knowledge:

- Basic English

- Finished High School, Industrial Maintenance Technical Career.
