Job Purpose: To read electrical drawings, plan and execute panel assembly work, including assigning tasks, assembling components, testing, and maintaining electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, and devices. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning panels or drives. 2.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Review the Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure that materials received from the store match the requirements.
- Check the General Arrangement (GA) drawings against the BOM to confirm mounting feasibility. Coordinate with the Design team in case of any material gaps.
- Mount materials as per the drawings.
- In case of material shortages, coordinate with the store to receive and mount the required items.
- Receive ferrule/wire labels for identification from the Drawing Department.
- Place wire requirements to the Store Department and receive the same.
- Measure panels for wiring and cut wires accordingly.
- Fit lugs (copper/aluminum caps) on wire ends.
- Perform control wiring as per drawings, followed by power wiring.
- If required by the client, receive identification labels from the Drawing Department and affix them.
- Ensure proper tightening and marking of all power wiring.
- Carry out door and panel earthing.
- Mount identification plates (e.g., danger signs,



Astek nameplate, busbar chamber, cable chamber, panel nameplate, feeder nameplate, etc.).
- Submit completed panels to the QC Department for inspection.
- Address and rectify any remarks received from QC.
- Shroud all live busbars.
- Support in panel wrapping when needed.
- Assist with panel disassembly, loading, and unloading.
- Provide support in identifying and solving testing-related issues.
- Regularly report to the Production Supervisor/Manager.
- Fill in for absent colleagues when required.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by top management. 3.

- Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI Electrician • Experience: 1-3 years in electrical panel manufacturing or related field • Key Skills: Strong problem-solving ability Positive physical fitness to manage on-floor tasks Flexibility and adaptability Teamwork and leadership qualities Customer service orientation (where applicable) Proficiency in reading technical drawings
