Role Description The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical layouts and power distribution systems for lighting and renewable energy projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, coordinating with project managers, architects, and installation teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves supporting on-site commissioning activities, troubleshooting electrical issues, and optimizing system performance and safety.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi,



requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

Review electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (LV/ Lighting and control systems ).

Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.

Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain project standards.

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during execution.

Prepare daily/weekly site reports, documentation, and progress updates.

Support procurement activities by verifying technical specifications of materials and equipment.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and site execution practices.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.

Familiarity with substations, transmission lines, or building services.

Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

5 years of relevant site experience in electrical projects.
