Role Description The Electrical Draftsman - Solar PV/Wind/BESS is a full time remote role responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings and plans for utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing single-line diagrams, layout drawings, cable routing, and equipment arrangement in coordination with electrical engineers and project managers.

The role involves interpreting design specifications, applying relevant codes and standards, and ensuring drawings are accurate, consistent, and ready for permitting and construction.

The Electrical

Draftsman will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams,



update drawings based on design changes and review comments, and maintain organized documentation within project workflows. This position supports efficient project execution by delivering high-quality drafting work on schedule.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in electrical design and electrical engineering for utility-scale solar PV, wind, and BESS projects.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of electricity fundamentals and power systems relevant to grid-connected infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in technical drawing and CAD tools for preparing detailed construction and permitting documents.
- Candidates should possess experience developing and interpreting electrical plans, including single-line diagrams and layout drawings.
- Relevant qualifications include a technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with industry standards and codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE) and utility interconnection requirements is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Prior experience in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure drafting is a plus.
