Responsibilities

- Electrical Schematics &
- Layouts: Design detailed electrical circuit diagrams, power distribution layouts, cable schedules, and control panel wiring diagrams using CAD software.

- Component Selection &

- BOM: Select appropriate electrical components (PLCs, VFDs, contactors, circuit breakers, relays, sensors, and transformers) and prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).

- Control System Integration: Coordinate with automation and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of PLC/HMI architectures with electrical hardware.

- Standards &

- Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant national and international electrical safety standards (such as IS, IEC, UL, or CE).

- Testing &

- Commissioning Support: Assist production, panel shop floor, and testing teams during panel wiring, loop testing, quality checks, and site commissioning.

- Value Engineering &

- Optimization:



Optimize panel designs to improve footprint, reduce thermal output, minimize costs, and simplify shop-floor assembly.

- Documentation: Maintain complete design documentation, engineering change notices (ECN), operational manuals, and project file archives.
