Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electric Vehicle (EV) R&D; Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The EV R&D; Engineer will design, develop, and test electric vehicle systems and components, with a focus on powertrain, battery management, control systems, and integration with educational and training equipment.

Daily responsibilities include performing technical research, creating and validating prototypes, conducting performance and reliability tests, and documenting design specifications and test results. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product design, academic content developers, and manufacturing, to translate engineering concepts into robust lab equipment and training solutions.



The engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, assist in resolving technical issues, and contribute to product roadmaps aligned with emerging EV technologies and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for data interpretation, problem-solving, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills to explore new EV technologies, materials, and design approaches.
- Candidates should possess Testing skills to plan, execute, and evaluate tests on EV subsystems, prototypes, and final products.
- Candidates should possess Product Development skills to convert concepts into manufacturable, reliable, and user-friendly EV training solutions.
- Relevant skills such as knowledge of EV powertrain, batteries, motors, inverters, and control systems, along with familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools, simulation software, and laboratory instrumentation for EV systems is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical information clearly, and manage projects and timelines effectively.
