Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Edtech Business Development Executive role based in Bengaluru. The individual will identify and engage potential clients in the edtech sector, conduct discovery calls, and present tailored solutions that align with client needs.
Daily responsibilities include building a robust sales pipeline, managing leads through the entire sales cycle, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and opportunities in CRM tools. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate terms within the salary range (up to 8 LPA), and ensure smooth onboarding of recent clients. The Executive will track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement of offerings and strategies.
Qualifications
- Ability to build and manage sales pipelines, conduct prospecting,
and drive lead generation within the edtech or education services domain.
- Skills in client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and consultative selling to understand and address client requirements.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Comfort using CRM and productivity tools, with basic data analysis skills to track performance and optimize business development efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; prior experience in edtech sales or B2B business development is highly beneficial.
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage in the Bengaluru market.
- Proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently, collaborate in teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
