Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Editorial Intern to support our editorial team in researching, curating, writing, and publishing legal and business news for ETLegalWorld.com.

The ideal candidate should have strong writing and research skills, an interest in the legal and business sectors, and the ability to identify relevant news and present it in a clear, concise, and engaging format.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily legal, corporate, business, and regulatory news from credible sources.
- Identify important and relevant stories for coverage on ETLegalWorld.com.
- Research and draft short news stories, news summaries, and basic analytical content.
- Assist with content curation, proofreading,



and fact-checking.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency across published content.
- Track emerging developments, legal trends, industry updates, and important announcements.
- Assist in planning and organising editorial content, special features.
- Publish and schedule news/content posts across the organisation's social media pages.
- Monitor social media engagement and identify opportunities to improve content visibility.
- Support the editorial team with other content and research requirements as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

- Pursuing 3rd year of a 3-year LLB, 3rd year onwards of a 5-year integrated law programme, or a recent law graduate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valuable writing skills with the ability to produce concise, accurate, and engaging news content.
- Strong research and information-gathering abilities.
- Basic editorial skills, including proofreading and fact-checking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of current legal, corporate, and business developments.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content publishing.
- Prior experience in content writing, journalism, legal research, social media management, or editorial work will be an added advantage.
