As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Editorial Assistant Intern to work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and become part of a mission-driven newsroom.
What you'll do
- Provide editorial and administrative support to the Editor-in-Chief.
- Coordinate interviews, meetings, travel, and editorial schedules.
- Conduct background research and fact-checking.
- Liaise with writers, experts, universities, and partner organisations.
- Track stories from pitch to publication.
- Assist with magazine production, digital publishing, and special editorial projects.
- Help organise events, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
We're looking for someone who
✔ Has excellent written and spoken English.
✔ Is exceptionally organised and detail-oriented.
✔ Can manage multiple priorities with professionalism.
✔ Is comfortable using digital productivity tools.
✔ Has a solid interest in journalism, science, education, climate, or public policy.
✔ Is curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
Location: Kochi, Kerala (Preferred)
