Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dynamics 365 Tester with 2+ years of experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Sales (Customer Engagement) and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) modules. The candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, performing gap analysis, preparing Acceptance Criteria, validating end-to-end business processes, executing functional and regression testing, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders, functional specifications, and user stories to understand business needs and system functionality.
- Perform Gap Analysis by identifying missing requirements, ambiguities, dependencies, and potential impacts across Dynamics 365 Sales (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O;) modules.
- Prepare detailed Acceptance Criteria based on business requirements and obtain validation and sign-off from business stakeholders prior to development and testing.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, QA team members, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate business expectations, and resolve functional queries.
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases based on approved business requirements and Acceptance Criteria.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), Smoke, Sanity, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), API Testing, and Security Role-based Testing.
- Perform API Testing using Postman or similar tools to validate request/response payloads, integrations, business rules, and error handling.




- Validate end-to-end business processes across Dynamics 365 Sales (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O;) modules.
- Perform Security Role-based Testing to validate user roles, permissions, field-level security, record access, and role-based functionality across Dynamics 365 applications.
- Verify integrations between Dynamics 365 and external applications or third-party systems.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects using Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
- Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Acceptance Criteria, Test Execution Reports, and Defect Reports.
- Perform release validation, production smoke testing, and post-deployment verification.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to automation testing initiatives and leverage AI-powered tools to improve test design, documentation, and testing efficiency.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of experience in Software Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (Customer Engagement) and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;).
- Strong understanding of CRM and ERP business processes.
- Experience in Requirement Gathering, Requirement Analysis, Gap Analysis, and translating business requirements into detailed Acceptance Criteria.
- Experience in designing and executing Functional, Regression, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), Smoke, Sanity, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), API Testing, and Security Role-based Testing.




- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience in validating role-based security, user permissions, field-level security, and access controls within Dynamics 365 applications.
- Experience in documenting business requirements, Acceptance Criteria, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Execution Reports, and Defect Reports.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience testing Dynamics 365 Sales (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O;) integrations.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and AI-powered productivity tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or GitHub Copilot to improve testing productivity and documentation.
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
- Experience working in a SAFE Agile environment is an added advantage.
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Playwright, EasyRepro, Selenium, or similar frameworks is an added advantage.
