Are you a QA skilled who has a strong engineering mindset, loves to code, and wants to master next-gen AI tools? We are looking for a hybrid QA Engineer (Manual Automation) to join our team at Draup!

In this role, you will balance core manual testing strategies with high-impact automation. We need someone with good coding knowledge who can perform rigorous manual verification, contribute scalable test frameworks, and leverage powerful models like Claude to optimize our testing pipelines.

What youll do:

- Full-Spectrum Testing: Execute comprehensive quality strategies across the product lifecycle, including Functional Testing, System Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Uncover Edge Cases: Run Exploratory Testing to catch defects that structured test cases and scripts miss.
- Code & Automate: Write clean, efficient test scripts in your preferred programming language using Playwright and evolve our automation framework, applying TDD principles.
- Leverage AI: Use Claude and other AI tools to accelerate script generation, refactor test code, and speed up manual test design.
- Collaborate & Innovate:



Collaborate in Team Problem Solving sessions with Dev and Product teams to resolve complex bugs.

What we are looking for:

- Diverse Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience executing Functional, System, Regression, and Exploratory testing, with a proven ability to find issues automation alone won't catch.
- Automation & Engineering: Working proficiency in at least one core language (Python, JS, TS, Java), with practical experience or strong grasp of TDD using Playwright.
- AI Fluency: Comfortable using Claude or similar AI assistants to write code, debug, and optimize testing workflows for both manual and automated work.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong Team Problem Solving skills and exceptional communication to clearly articulate technical issues across teams.
- Professional Experience: 12 years of hands-on experience in a QA role covering both manual and automation work, with a track record of shipping reliable software.
