Role Description The District Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jhalawar, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves coordinating district-level implementation of Wadhwani AI programs, including planning activities, supporting government and local partner engagement, and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders.

The District

Coordinator will monitor project progress, collect and validate field data, help troubleshoot operational challenges, and support training and capacity-building sessions for local teams and community members. The role also includes preparing concise reports, documenting learnings, and providing feedback to program and technical teams to refine AI solutions for real-world use. The person in this role will represent Wadhwani AI at the district level, fostering collaboration and promoting responsible,



impact-focused use of technology.

Qualifications Ability to coordinate field operations, manage multiple activities, and support implementation across government offices, community organizations, and partner institutions.

Robust communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders, conducting meetings, and facilitating trainings at the district and community levels.

Basic data collection, documentation, and reporting skills, including comfort with digital tools and maintaining accurate records of project activities and outcomes.

Problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities to address on-ground challenges, escalate issues appropriately, and maintain productive relationships.

Familiarity with social impact or development programs in sectors such as agriculture, health, or education; prior experience working with rural or semi-urban communities is an advantage.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to changing program needs, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in English and local languages used in Jhalawar; strong writing skills for clear, concise documentation and communication.

Comfort with technology, including smartphones, basic software tools, and digital communication platforms; openness to learning about AI-enabled solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, public administration, agriculture, health, education, or a related field; relevant field or district-level experience is preferred.
