Location: India (Remote/Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead EMT studies using PSCAD/EMTDC for utility-scale BESS, Solar, Wind and Data Center interconnection projects.
2. Develop, validate and maintain detailed EMT models including inverters, plant controllers, transformers, transmission systems, protection and grid equivalents.
3. Perform power system studies including LVRT/HVRT, LFRT/HFRT, grid-forming/grid-following, oscillation, harmonics, switching transients and control interaction studies.
4.



Collaborate with Power System Study engineers to develop PSS®E/PSLF base cases and integrate steady-state models into EMT simulations.
5. Prepare technical reports, engineering recommendations and present study findings to utilities, developers, OEMs and project stakeholders.
6. Review project deliverables, ensure technical quality, mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices for the EMT team.
7. Support proposal preparation, technical scoping, effort estimation and customer discussions during pre-sales activities.
8. Work closely with OEMs and clients to obtain, validate and troubleshoot PSCAD models, control settings and technical data.
9. Stay current with utility interconnection requirements, IEEE/NERC standards and emerging inverter-based resource technologies.
10. Build and grow Sunstripe's EMT engineering capability while delivering world-class engineering services to customers across North America and Europe.
