Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Diploma / Graduate Trainee role based in Jamshedpur. The trainee will support production operations by learning and assisting with manufacturing processes, quality checks, and basic equipment handling under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring workflow on the shop floor, documenting operational data, and following safety and quality standards.

The role involves participating in training programs, shadowing experienced staff,



and contributing to continuous improvement activities. The trainee will collaborate with colleagues across departments to understand Metalsa’s systems and prepare for future technical or supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational technical skills in mechanical, industrial, or automotive engineering and an understanding of basic manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in data recording, basic analysis, and use of common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) for reporting and documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors, peers, and cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to follow standard operating procedures and adapt to process improvements.
- Diploma or graduate degree in engineering or a related technical field from a recognized institution is required.
- Willingness to work on-site in a production workplace in Jamshedpur and to work in shifts as needed.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning; prior internship or industrial exposure is an advantage.
