Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Diamond Grader.
The Diamond
Grader will be responsible for examining diamonds using specialized tools and microscopes to assess their cut, clarity, color, and carat weight. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control, assisting in jewelry design assessments, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing training to junior team members.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- 10 YEARS+
Qualifications Proficiency in using microscopes and other laboratory equipment for diamond grading.
Solid knowledge and skills in quality control processes for diamonds and related products.
Experience or knowledge in jewelry design to assess and evaluate diamond settings.
Ability to train and mentor junior team members for skill development.
Attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness are essential.
Familiarity with diamond grading certifications (such as GIA/IGI) is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
