Job Title: DevOps Support Engineer Customer Data & Services Location: Chennai Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DevOps Support Engineer Customer Data & Services to join our IT Payment Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevOps practices, Linux operations, application support, infrastructure automation, and monitoring. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of payment applications by leveraging modern DevOps tools, automation, and operational best practices.

The candidate will work in an Agile, DevOps-driven environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical payment platforms that process high-volume transactions securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Provide end-to-end application support for production environments. Support application enhancements to improve system performance, stability, and functionality. Implement technical changes to support business growth and operational efficiency. Automate operational tasks using DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Manage

Linux-based production environments and ensure high availability. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Perform infrastructure provisioning and automation using Ansible.

Monitor application performance and infrastructure health using ELK Stack and monitoring tools. Create dashboards, configure alerts, and analyze application logs.



Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with operational standards and delivery timelines.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience 5 6 years of experience in DevOps, Linux Operations, Application Support, or Production Support. Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, ELK Stack, and Linux administration.
