About the Role

We are seeking a Developer Experience (DevEx) Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on developer productivity, internal developer platforms, developer tooling, CI/CD, software development workflows, engineering enablement, and AI-generated technical content evaluation.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated developer workflows, engineering documentation, onboarding guides, SDKs, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, platform architectures, and developer productivity recommendations. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for developer enablement, engineering efficiency, platform engineering, and software delivery.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in Developer Experience (DevEx), Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, Developer Productivity, Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), or Developer Relations.

Responsibilities

- Review AI-generated engineering documentation, developer portals, onboarding guides, SDK documentation, API specifications, CI/CD workflows, automation scripts, and platform architectures.
- Evaluate developer platforms involving source control, package management, build systems, testing frameworks, deployment pipelines, developer portals, and cloud-native tooling.
- Verify AI-generated recommendations for engineering productivity, automation, developer onboarding,



infrastructure standardization, observability, and platform governance.
- Assess AI-generated workflows and tooling for usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and enterprise readiness.
- Identify developer pain points, workflow inefficiencies, documentation gaps, platform bottlenecks, automation issues, and tooling inconsistencies.
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in developer enablement, platform engineering, and engineering productivity.
- Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, Developer Experience (DevEx), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or developer productivity.
- Building developer tools and internal engineering platforms.
- Designing CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows.
- Improving developer onboarding, documentation, and productivity.
- Building SDKs, APIs, CLI tools, templates, or automation frameworks.
- Reviewing AI-generated engineering documentation and platform designs.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C# .
- Familiarity with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, Google Cloud ), REST APIs, GraphQL, package management, containerization, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Excellent analytical thinking, software architecture,



documentation, debugging, and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate developer-focused technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with large engineering organizations, SaaS companies, cloud providers, AI startups, enterprise software companies, consulting firms, or platform engineering teams.
- Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), engineering portals, CI/CD frameworks, developer automation tools, or software delivery platforms.
- Experience evaluating AI-generated developer documentation, engineering workflows, APIs, SDKs, platform architectures, or technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, AI-assisted coding, GitHub Copilot, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI benchmarking, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), or AI-powered developer tools is highly desirable.
- Contributions to open-source developer tools or platform engineering projects are a plus.
- Professional certifications in cloud computing, Kubernetes, DevOps, platform engineering, or software architecture are advantageous.
