Role Description The Design Verification Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. In this role, the trainer delivers structured training sessions on digital design, verification methodologies, and related tools to students and corporate learners. Daily tasks include preparing and updating course materials, creating lab exercises and assessments, and providing explicit explanations of complex concepts through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs.

The trainer mentors learners, answers technical questions, evaluates performance, and provides constructive feedback to help them build practical skills. The role also involves collaborating with the curriculum team to enhance training content, staying up to date with industry trends and EDA tools,



and supporting academic and corporate programs as needed.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong technical skills in digital design, VLSI fundamentals, and design verification concepts (e.g., simulation, testbenches, assertion-based verification).

Candidates should possess practical experience with industry-standard HDLs and tools, such as Verilog/SystemVerilog, UVM, and common EDA toolchains for simulation and verification.

Candidates should possess skills in curriculum development, instructional design, and the ability to create clear training materials, labs, and assessments.

Candidates should possess strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse learner groups.

Candidates should possess valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities, a detail-oriented approach, and a commitment to continuous learning in VLSI and embedded systems.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; prior teaching or corporate training experience is an advantage.

Experience in semiconductor industry projects, exposure to verification flows in real-world environments, and familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, TCL) are beneficial.
