About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DFT (Design for Test) Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Bangalore office. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing and implementing DFT architectures for complex SoC and ASIC designs.

This role involves developing innovative test solutions to ensure high-quality manufacturing and silicon validation. You will collaborate closely with RTL, physical design, verification, and silicon validation teams to deliver robust test methodologies that optimize test coverage, reduce test time, and minimize costs. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor projects in a hybrid work setting, contributing to the development of next-generation integrated circuits.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years and up to 14 years of relevant experience in the field of digital design and test. A strong understanding of SoC/ASIC design flow,



along with hands-on experience in scan insertion, scan compression, ATPG, and fault coverage analysis, is essential.

Candidates should have practical experience in silicon validation and post-silicon debug, demonstrating excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline is required. Solid communication and collaboration skills are vital for working effectively across cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in DFT methodologies is also preferred.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement DFT architecture for complex SoC/ASIC designs, ensuring robustness and testability.
- Design and integrate scan chains, scan compression, and boundary scan (JTAG) features to facilitate efficient testing.
- Generate and validate ATPG patterns for various fault models, including stuck-at and transition faults.
- Perform DFT verification, coverage analysis, and debugging to achieve high manufacturing test coverage.
- Collaborate with RTL, physical design, verification, and silicon teams to ensure seamless DFT implementation.
- Support silicon bring-up, silicon validation, and production testing activities, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Analyze silicon test failures, identify root causes,



and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Optimize DFT methodologies to improve test quality, reduce test time, and minimize overall testing costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry-standard DFT methodologies and best practices, maintaining high-quality documentation and test plans.
- Prepare comprehensive DFT documentation, including test plans, implementation reports, and validation results.
