Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing digital textile printing machines and related mechanical assemblies. The role involves product development, machine optimization, preparation of manufacturing drawings, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and cost-effective machine designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical systems and assemblies for digital textile printing machines.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly drawings with GD&T; standards.
- Design sheet metal, fabricated structures, machine frames, and precision mechanical components.
- Develop and improve machine mechanisms for enhanced productivity and reliability.
- Select suitable materials, bearings, motors, linear guides, belts, gears, couplings, and other standard components.
- Work closely with production, electrical, automation, procurement, and service teams during product development.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform design modifications based on customer feedback and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and engineering documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.




- Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of machine design principles.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, or similar CAD software.
- Experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawing standards.
- Understanding of sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of mechanical transmission systems (gearboxes, pulleys, timing belts, couplings, linear motion systems).
- Familiarity with pneumatics and basic hydraulics.
- Understanding of tolerances, fits, and material selection.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement design improvements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
