Objective:

To contribute to the development of high-quality mechanical designs by applying strong fundamentals of fluid mechanics and instrumentation, ensuring design accuracy, standardization, and timely project execution while mentoring the design team.

Major Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the development of high-quality mechanical product designs in line with company standards and customer requirements.
- Review, validate, and approve engineering drawings and technical documentation ensuring compliance with GD&T;, design standards
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and alignment with project goals.
- Ensure proper application of fluid mechanics and instrumentation fundamentals in all design activities.
- Drive design standardization, continuous improvement initiatives, and proper documentation control.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and support skill development
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with design processes and effective use of AutoCAD and other design tools.




- Implement and utilize design management systems to streamline project execution, review, and submission.

Reporting to: Manager - Engineering

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in flow measurement, instrumentation, or process industry.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and related design software (3D Modelling & Drafting)
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) concepts.
- Technical documentation and BOM Creation
- In-depth knowledge of Mechanical design, materials mechanics, fluid mechanics, and instrumentation fundamentals.
