Title: Design Director Reporting to: Associate Creative Director, New York Location: 200 Madison Avenue, New York (three days in office, two days working from home) Employment type: Full-time We’re looking for a thoughtful and rigorous Design Director with a solid understanding of brand. You know how to conduct an audit, working directly with strategists linking strategy to creative territories. You imagine thoughtful design directions, pushing the boundaries of the strategy and the codes of the category.

With a discerning eye, you transform design directions into identity systems that are clear, scalable and thoughtfully codified. Your portfolio reflects your depth in branding and includes robust examples of identity standards.

You’ll be a steady force ensuring the smooth, thoughtful progression of our projects – managing your own time and that of junior and senior designers while tracking the workflow of the studio with clarity and care. You’ll take the lead in structuring critiques across both local and remote teams, helping shape a studio environment where everyone feels supported, ideas evolve,



and great work thrives. In presentations, you’ll bring stories to life – articulating the why behind the work with conviction, clarity, and creative enthusiasm.

You’ll roll up your sleeves and collaborate with our team, bringing your conceptual eye and hands-on design talent to every phase of the process. You bring an openness for collaboration and relationship building, including internal and client partners. You’ll report to the Associate Creative Director, with a dedicated Senior Designer’s support.

Relevant Experience

No less than eight years’ experience, specific to reputable branding agencies A portfolio of visual identity work

Hold a design-related degree from a leading design institution

Strong design fundamentals

Confident presentation skills

Ability to track and manage multiple projects
