Anantham Projects develops premium residential, commercial, and township projects across North India. Our projects involve multiple external architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, interior designers, and landscape architects, requiring strong coordination to ensure design intent is translated accurately into execution.

As our portfolio grows, we are looking for a Design Coordinator who will become the central link between consultants, Management, and execution teams — ensuring drawings are coordinated, decisions are documented, revisions are controlled, and construction always proceeds with accurate and current information.

Role Summary The Design Coordinator will own the complete design coordination process across multiple live projects — right from receiving inputs from Architects and Structural Engineers, finalizing Good-for-Construction (GFC) drawings, reviewing and updating drawings as required, visiting sites to resolve on-ground queries, and ensuring drawings are correctly implemented during execution. The role works closely with Management, consultants, contractors, and site teams to maintain smooth project execution and minimize drawing-related delays or rework.

The portfolio typically involves 20+ drawing submissions every month covering architecture, structure, MEP, interiors, landscape, infrastructure, and fabrication details.

Key Responsibilities

Design Input & Coordination (Architect / Structural Engineer)

- Coordinate with Architects and Structural Engineers to receive design inputs and drawings as per project schedules
- Attend all design coordination meetings with architects, consultants, and Management
- Prepare and circulate Minutes of Meeting within 24 hours




- Maintain project-wise decision logs and action trackers

GFC Drawing Finalization

- Review drawings received from Architects/consultants and finalize Good-for-Construction (GFC) drawings
- Verify compliance with approved design intent and meeting decisions
- Coordinate across disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, interiors, landscape) to identify conflicts, inconsistencies, and missing information
- Maintain a live drawing register tracking drawing numbers, revisions, due dates, and approval status

Drawing Review & Updates

- Review additional/updated drawings as project requirements evolve
- Carry out minor drawing modifications in AutoCAD based on approved site requirements
- Maintain revision records and ensure controlled drawing distribution
- Record and communicate all updates within the drawing management system

Site Visits & Query Resolution

- Visit project sites regularly to understand drawing-related requirements raised by site teams
- Resolve site queries by coordinating with consultants and converting observations into actionable items
- Support construction teams with drawing interpretation and clarification

Implementation of Drawings on Site

- Ensure the latest approved GFC drawings are implemented correctly during execution
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure drawings are followed as issued
- Follow up on any deviations and ensure timely resolution

Commercial & Technical Support

- Review BOQs alongside drawings
- Correlate drawings with quantities and specifications
- Support procurement and billing teams with technical clarifications
- Assist in resolving drawing-related execution queries

Ownership

- Own the complete drawing coordination process across all projects — from design input to site implementation
- Maintain accurate drawing registers and revision control systems
- Coordinate effectively with architects,



consultants, contractors, Management, and site teams
- Release approved Good-for-Construction drawings as per company processes
- Ensure design documentation remains organized, current, and readily accessible
- Support Management by driving timely follow-ups and ensuring design decisions are implemented

Success in the Role:

First 90 Days

- Drawing registers established and updated across all live projects
- Timely circulation of meeting minutes and action trackers
- Structured revision control implemented for all consultant drawings
- Reliable coordination established between consultants, Management, and execution teams

- Improved consultant responsiveness and drawing turnaround times

- Efficient coordination across all design disciplines
- Strong documentation, revision management, and project communication systems

Candidate Profile

Essential

- B.Arch preferred; B.E./B.Tech (Civil) with relevant coordination experience may also be considered
- 4–6 years' experience with a real estate developer, PMC, architectural, or multidisciplinary consultancy
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, MEP, interior, and landscape drawings
- Experience coordinating consultants through design and execution stages
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Ability to interpret BOQs, specifications, and construction drawings
- Strong documentation, organization, and follow-up skills
- Fluent Hindi and functional written English
- Willingness to travel to project sites

Preferred

- Experience across residential, township, and commercial developments
- Familiarity with Revit or BIM workflows
- Exposure to ERP or project management systems
- Experience managing formal drawing registers and revision control processes
