Role Description The Deputy Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Tiruchirappalli manufacturing location. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the assigned function, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.

The Deputy

Manager coordinates cross-functional activities with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support efficient plant operations and on-time delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, driving continuous improvement projects, supporting problem-solving for technical and process issues,



and preparing regular reports and documentation for leadership review. The role also involves mentoring team members, supporting adherence to company policies and systems, and contributing to compliance with industry and customer requirements.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong operational and manufacturing management skills, including experience in production planning, process optimization, and shop-floor coordination.

Candidates should possess technical and engineering competence, preferably in mechanical or automotive engineering, with familiarity in steering systems, hydraulic systems, or occupant safety products.

Candidates should possess skills in quality and continuous improvement, such as knowledge of lean manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies, and adherence to quality standards and audits.

Candidates should possess proficiency in engineering and design tools or related software, and an ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.

Candidates should possess leadership and people-management skills, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and coaching for skill development.

Candidates should possess strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and present data-driven insights.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, automotive, or related discipline) and prior experience in automotive or component manufacturing will be highly beneficial.

Familiarity with working in a high-quality, award-winning manufacturing environment and readiness to work in office in Tiruchirappalli are expected.
