Job Description

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 45 years of experience to join our infrastructure team. This role focuses entirely on scaling, optimizing, and governing our enterprise observability ecosystem. You will serve as the subject matter expert for tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, AppD ensuring deep system visibility, proactive anomaly detection, and rapid incident resolution across all Pre-production and production environments

Key Responsibilities

- Observability Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring solutions using Dynatrace or Datadog.
- Telemetry Standardization: Establish logging, metrics, and distributed tracing standards across distributed microservices.
- Alert Engineering: Build high-fidelity alerting frameworks to reduce noise and eliminate alert fatigue.
- Dashboard Development: Create executive and technical real-time dashboards for business KPIs and system health.
- Reliability Management: Partner with development teams to define, monitor, and report on SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.
- Incident Response: Leverage APM tools to drive fast root-cause analysis during high-severity production incidents.
- Observability as Code: Automate

Required Technical Skills

- Monitoring Platforms: 2+ years of intensive, hands-on administration of Dynatrace- Deploying and Installing OneAgent, Synthetics, RUM,



Manage Dynatrace SaaS/Managed environments, ActiveGates, Cluster Management, and tenant configurations.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience monitoring cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure). Good working exposure supporting applications built using serverless functions.
- Containers & Orchestration: Robust proficiency tracking health in Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and Docker.
- Automation & IaC: Production experience deploying configurations using Terraform, Ansible
- Scripting & Programming: Ability to write clean code in Python or UNIX scripting, Go, or Bash to build custom integrations.
- Log Management: Experience configuring log pipelines, parsing rules, and index strategies.

Experience & Qualifications

- Experience: 45 years of professional experience in an SRE, mandatory 2+ experience required in Dynatrace and capabilities listed above.
- Good to have experience working in AWS , Azure functions or basic level of understanding is required.
- Certifications: Dynatrace Associate/Professional or Datadog Certified Engineer certifications are a major plus.
