vConstruct is seeking experienced Architects to join its Design Services team to support the delivery of Design-Build and Design-Assist projects. This role exists to bridge the gap between design vision and technical execution ensuring architectural intent is preserved while achieving constructability, compliance and cost efficiency.

This role would fit an experienced architectural professional with excellent creative and technical design skills, strong design coordination skills and a positive knowledge of construction methodologies. The individual would work on a range of projects of different scales and complexities in core markets of our expertise such as commercial, educational, healthcare, advanced tech, and life sciences buildings. The individual would work with and lead areas such as Architecture and Interior Design, Cold Formed Framing systems, and Building Envelope systems including faade and waterproofing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and collaborate on the architectural design development through Concept, Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CD), and Construction Administration (CA) phases.
2. Lead and coordinate the development of architectural deliverables, including drawings, shop drawings, and submittals across multiple project scopes.
3. Independently conduct constructability reviews and contribute to design coordination efforts, proactively identifying and resolving design conflicts.
4. Apply in-depth knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, specifications, and construction methodologies to inform design decisions.
5. Develop and evaluate detailed architectural assemblies, including interior partitions and exterior envelope systems,



balancing constructability, cost, schedule, and design intent.
6. Collaborate closely with regional design leaders, project teams, structural engineers, self-perform scope leads, design managers, and MEP consultants to deliver coordinated solutions.
7. Produce conceptual renderings and visual materials to communicate design intent during early project phases.
8. Oversee the development, organization, and maintenance of architectural detail libraries and design content.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards, documentation practices, and workflows to enhance consistency and efficiency.
10. Support design revisions, RFIs, value engineering efforts, construction-phase clarifications, and construction administration activities throughout the project lifecycle.
11. Ensure and maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency across deliverables by developing, establishing and following QAQC requirements on projects.
12. Collaborate with peers and Service leads on project management responsibilities such as project planning, workload and staffing requirements and project billing.
13. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Experience Skills

- 6 10 years of professional experience as an Architect or Technical Designer in the AEC industry.




- Education background - Bachelor s degree in Architecture. Masters specialization in a relevant discipline would be an advantage.
- Proven experience delivering architectural design from concept through construction documentation in commercial, educational, healthcare, life sciences, or advanced technology projects.
- Proven ability to independently lead defined architectural scopes and support Design-Build project delivery.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working on U.S.-based projects; familiarity with U.S. codes and standards is required.
- Strong understanding of architectural systems, building envelope design, and construction methodologies relevant to U.S. projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit for interior architectural modeling, documentation, detail development, templates and parametric families.
- Working knowledge of design coordination and documentation review platforms such as Navisworks, Revizto, ACC, Bluebeam.
- Experience with SketchUp and visualization tools such as Enscape; familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper is an added benefit.
