As a Deputy Fintech Manager, you will be the driving force behind the execution and adoption of Transsion's consumer affordability programs. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of these programs within your assigned territory, ensuring they become a key lever for sales growth. You will act as the primary point of contact, building solid relationships, providing training, and troubleshooting issues to maximize retailer activation and consumer financing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage Transsion's affordability programs for your assigned region, ensuring alignment with company sales and penetration goals.
- Build, manage, and serve as the key liaison with designated business units, distributors, and retailers for all affordability program activities, including relationship management and comprehensive training.
- Drive the onboarding of new retailers onto Transsion's affordability platforms and execute product training for whitelabel applications, PayTrigger, and in-house software (Sellmo) to increase instalment transaction volumes.
- Manage and support existing retailers and their key personnel (PIC), providing first-level troubleshooting for retailer and consumer issues and delivering on-ground feedback to optimize program performance.
- Monitor program metrics, provide regular reports on activations and transaction growth, and implement targeted strategies to increase adoption and utilization of financing options at the point of sale.
Qualification and Experience required
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or fintech, preferably within the Indian consumer electronics or mobile handset industry.
- Strong understanding of the Indian mobile phone market, retail dynamics, and consumer device financing landscape.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel within the assigned region for effective on-ground execution and support.
