- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics (or ADB and ADF) to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse. Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models within Azure Synapse to support analytical and reporting requirements.
- Query Optimization: Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance to ensure the responsiveness of data queries and reports.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from different sources, both on-premises and cloud, into Azure Synapse for a unified data view.
- Data Security: Implement and maintain data security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect sensitive information.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor data pipelines and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure data availability and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of data pipelines, data models, and processes.

Must-Have

- Experience with Azure data stack around ADF, ADB, Synapse, ADLSG2 etc.
- Proven experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.




- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services is a plus.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Azure certification(s) related to data engineering or analytics is a plus

Good to Have
- Experience in Health Insurance domain
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Previous experience on CI/CD pipeline.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
