About the Role

We are looking for a Database Engineer with solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and working knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). You will play a key role in keeping our data platforms fast, reliable, and production-ready, from query tuning and cube maintenance to day-to-day database operations.

Experience with PostgreSQL will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and ETL processes
- Manage and update SSAS Cubes, including processing, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Handle day-to-day DBA activities including backups, restores, monitoring jobs, security management, and database health checks
- Perform query tuning and performance optimization using execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and statistics management




- Troubleshoot production database issues and ensure system stability, availability, and performance
- Collaborate with development teams to implement database best practices

Support database capacity planning, maintenance, and optimization initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications: (Only 3-4 years of experience)

- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server development and administration

-Strong understanding of execution plans, indexes, statistics, and query optimization

-Experience with SSAS Cube maintenance and processing

-Knowledge of SQL Server Agent Jobs, backup/recovery, and routine DBA operations

-Good troubleshooting and analytical skills for performance tuning

-Excellent Communication Skills

Nice to Have

-Working knowledge of PostgreSQL

-Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
