We are looking for a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design and develop database-driven workflow solutions supporting employee onboarding and training processes.
The role focuses on building robust backend logic, workflow orchestration, and system integrations , ensuring seamless onboarding experiences and efficient task management across business stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Database Development & Workflow Logic
- Design and develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers to support onboarding workflows and task orchestration
- Build database-driven business logic to manage sequencing and dependencies of onboarding activities
- Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability of database solutions
Workflow & Role-Based Processing
- Implement role-based task management :
- Hiring Managers to manage employee onboarding activities
- Academy Managers to control and schedule training programs
- Develop logic to dynamically assign and track onboarding tasks based on roles and workflows
System Integration
- Integrate onboarding platform with internal systems such as Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Enable automatic assignment of induction and compliance training courses based on onboarding workflows
Job Scheduling & Automation
- Create and manage batch jobs using AutoSys (JIL scripts)
- Configure job dependencies (predecessor/successor relationships) to process employee data from upstream systems
- Ensure reliable and efficient data processing pipelines
Requirements & Design Collaboration
- Collaborate with functional and business teams to gather requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and database solutions
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for system improvements
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid experience in:
- Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, triggers)
- Database design and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workflow-driven applications and task orchestration
- AutoSys job scheduling and JIL scripting
- Java understanding
- Experience integrating enterprise systems (e.g., LMS or HR systems )
- Strong understanding of:
- Data processing pipelines and batch job dependencies
- Role-based access and workflow management
- Ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions
