Experience: 3–5 years open-source DB administration
Job Overview:Operations and maintenance of MySQL, MongoDB,and Redis (incl.shards) across production and DR. Key Responsibilities:
- Backup/restore, replication, and shard healthmanagement.
- Performance tuning and capacity monitoring; slow-query analysis.
- Patching per policy;VA closure; securityhardening.
- Recent instance creation,user access management, periodic access reviews.
- Housekeeping, archival, and purge jobs per schedule/policy.
- OEM/community escalation and coordination for bug fixes.
- Prepare operational reports, capacity/utilization inputsand service metrics.
- Ensure SLA compliance, audit readiness and RBI/security policyadherence.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks,
KB articles and operational documentation.
- Coordinate with OEMs/vendors and internal teams for issueresolution.
- Support DR drills, patching,vulnerability remediation and preventive maintenance.
- Participate in RCA preparation for Priority incidents.
- Follow Incident,Problem, Change and Service RequestManagement processes.
