Role & responsibilities

Primary skills :

- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Develop ER diagrams defining entities, relationships, keys, and constraints
- Strong business process knowledge (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance etc.) - ERP/ECC exposure (Mandatory)
- Significant experience in one or more RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server) .
- Adept understanding of any of the cloud services is preferred (Azure, AWS & GCP)
- Real-time experience working in OLAP & OLTP database models (Dimensional models).
- Solid SQL knowledge and able to suggest modeling approaches for a given problem.
- Comprehensive understanding of Star schema, Snowflake schema, and Data Vault Modelling. Also, on any ETL tool, Data Governance, and Data quality.




- Translate business requirements into scalable & Re usable data models
- Enable DataasaProduct through canonical and conformed models
- Ensure alignment between data models and physical implementations
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analytics, and governance teams
- Enforce modeling standards and naming conventions

Secondary skills(Nice to have): Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Batch Vs streaming ingestion methods.

Different End to End Architectural patterns .
