Seeking a Senior Specialist with years of experience in Data Modeling and cloud data platforms including Microsoft Fabric ERWIN GCP BigQuery Snowflake and Redshift
Design and develop scalable and robust data models including Data Vault ODS and dimensional data models to support enterprise data warehousing needs Utilize ERWIN ER Studio and TOAD Data Modeler tools for data modeling and documentation Implement and optimize ANSISQL queries across MS SQL Server Snowflake Redshift and GCP BigQuery environments Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical data models Leverage Databricks and Microsoft Fabric platforms to integrate and streamline data processing workflows Ensure data governance security and compliance standards are maintained within data models and platforms Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in data modeling and cloud data technologies
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the design implementation and maintenance of enterprise data models using Data Vault ODS and dimensional modeling techniques Manage and optimize data models across multiple platforms including Snowflake Redshift MS SQL Server and GCP BigQuery Mentor and guide junior data modelers and team members on best practices and tool usage including ERWIN ER Studio and TOAD Data Modeler Perform data model reviews and ensure alignment with business requirements and performance standards Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of data models with data pipelines and analytics solutions Monitor model performance troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to enhance data accessibility and reliability Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data modeling processes and platform capabilities
