We are seeking a hungry, exceptionally driven, and meticulous leader to be the foundational leader of our data operations. This is not a standard 9-to-5 role; it is a high-intensity position for a leader who is obsessed with data integrity and precision. You will be responsible for building, owning, and scaling the entire data factory that transforms raw financial information into a high-precision product that our clients will depend on to manage billions of dollars in capital.

Who You Are
- Experience:
You have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in a data-intensive role within capital markets, quantitative finance, or a financial data provider (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Visible Alpha)
. You must understand how the entire process works from end-to-end.
- Technical Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory. You have hands-on experience with modern data stack technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery), and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow).
- Financial Acumen:
You have a deep, practical understanding of financial statements, consensus estimates, and the data workflows of long/short equity hedge funds. You know what an analyst needs before they do.
- Meticulous and Detail-Oriented:
You have an obsessive, almost fanatical attention to detail. You are the person who finds the single rounding error in a million-row dataset.
