Senior Data Architect – Finance Data ? Location: Bangalore (Hybrid/Onsite)

? Experience: 10+ Years We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the architecture and design of enterprise-scale Finance data platforms and data products. If you have a robust background in designing scalable data architectures, building modern data platforms, and working with finance domains, we'd love to connect. Key Responsibilities

Design and own enterprise-grade Finance data architecture and data models.

Build scalable transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) data models.

Architect robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch, incremental, CDC, reconciliation, and recovery workflows.

Establish data governance, quality, lineage, metadata, and reconciliation standards.

Drive architecture decisions focused on scalability, performance, reliability, and cost optimization.

Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on data architecture best practices.

Skills

10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Warehousing.





Strong expertise in Data Modeling (OLTP & OLAP).

Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hive, and Apache Spark.

Expert-level SQL and distributed data processing knowledge.

Experience designing large-scale ETL/ELT architectures.

Strong understanding of CDC, incremental processing, reconciliation, metadata management, and data quality.

Experience in Finance domains such as Payments, Settlements, Ledgers, Accounting, Reconciliation, or Financial Reporting.

Ability to lead architecture decisions and work independently with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred

Skills

Spark SQL, PySpark, Hive SQL, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks.

Experience in FinTech, Payments, Marketplace, Mobility, or large-scale technology companies.
