Hi Everyone,
Hope youre doing well!
We have an urgent opening for a Reporting & Analytics, one of our esteemed clients.
Client Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: Contract to hire(9 to 12Months)
Experience Required: 8 – 12Years
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering across Visco entity-level functions (Finance, Compliance, Legal) to define reporting and dashboard requirements and translate them into a prioritized delivery roadmap.
- Define the target-state data architecture covering data flow from source systems — Workday for hiring, and respective systems for other functions — into the Databricks-based local data platform, in partnership with central data/IT platform teams.
- Set data governance and quality standards for the team: source system ownership, refresh cadence, access control, PII/sensitive-data handling for HR data, and metric/definition standardization across functions.
- Own the build-vs-buy decision of the visualization layer — Power BI versus native Databricks dashboards — based on user base, cost, licensing, and scalability, and maintain that standard across the team's output.
- Manage and mentor the team (1 Data Engineer, 2 Analysts): assign workstreams, review deliverables for quality and accuracy, unblock technical issues, and develop the team's skills.
- Partner with IT and data platform teams on infrastructure provisioning, Databricks workspace/cluster configuration, licensing, and platform-level dependencies (e.g., Workday integration credentials, API access).
- Manage stakeholder relationships by presenting dashboards, hiring funnel insights, and entity-level reporting directly to Visco and Subdivision leadership; act as the escalation point for reporting issues.
- Define and track success metrics for the function:
data accuracy, refresh SLAs, dashboard adoption, and time-to-delivery for new requests, and report on these periodically to leadership.
- Manage timelines, risk, and dependencies between the GCC's BOT delivery model and the in-house reporting function, ensuring consistency with broader GCC governance forums.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in HR/people analytics, business intelligence, or data reporting roles, including at least 2 years in a team lead or people-management capacity.
- Proven stakeholder management experience, running structured requirements-gathering workshops with HR, TA, or business stakeholders and converting them into a delivery backlog.
- Robust working knowledge of Workday's data model and reporting capability (Workday Report-as-a-Service, calculated fields, business process reporting) — hands-on experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on or architecture-level experience with Databricks (or another cloud Lakehouse platform), SQL, and dimensional/data modelling concepts, sufficient to architect and review the team's pipeline and model design.
- Solid grasp of dashboard design and a track record of building or overseeing executive-facing dashboards in Power BI or an equivalent BI tool.
- Excellent communication skills, with team leadership, prioritization across competing function demands, and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with GCC delivery governance models, such as BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) vendor models and entity-level governance forums.
- Experience standing up a reporting function from scratch or migrating one, (e.g., MSBI, Tableau-to-Power BI, or on-prem-to-cloud) is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (Databricks, Power BI, Workday Reporting) are a plus.
