Role Overview :
As a Data Analyst based in Gurugram, you will serve as the bridge between raw data and actionable business strategy. You will spend your day-to-day extracting insights from complex datasets, building robust reporting frameworks, and conducting rigorous A/B testing to optimize product performance. Working closely with cross-functional teamsincluding product managers, engineering leads, and marketing stakeholdersyou will translate technical findings into clear narratives that drive decision-making.
Your work will directly influence user retention, revenue growth, and operational efficiency, ensuring that the organization remains data-driven in an increasingly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from large-scale databases, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, real-time business intelligence.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau to visualize key performance indicators, enabling leadership to track progress against strategic objectives.
- Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to evaluate product features, providing evidence-based recommendations that improve user engagement and conversion rates.
- Automate data cleaning and processing pipelines using Python and Pandas to reduce manual reporting overhead and improve the speed of insight delivery.
- Collaborate with product teams to define success metrics for new initiatives, ensuring that every feature launch is measurable and aligned with long-term business goals.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and utilizing Python libraries like Pandas for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to translate technical data findings into compelling visual stories using Tableau, tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong foundation in experimental design and A/B testing methodologies, with a track record of using data to drive product optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to senior leadership and influence cross-functional decision-making.
- A minimum of 4 to 7 years of professional experience in an analytical role, preferably within a quick-paced product or consulting environment.
- A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, hybrid work environment in Gurugram, balancing independent deep-work with collaborative team sessions.
